PASTOR’S SCHOLARSHIP
Lone Star Baptist College desires to have loyal, dedicated, soul winning students with servant’s hearts. No individual would know better a student’s current personal character than each student’s pastor. Each year, pastors will be mailed a PASTOR’S SCHOLARSHIP to award to the students of their choosing. This is a $250.00 per semester discount for a student’s first year’s tuition at Lone Star Baptist College and is available only to full-time students. Students may receive this scholarship through their pastor’s recommendation.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP
Lone Star Baptist College students who excel in their grades and their character will be awarded the ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP. Students who wish to apply for this scholarship must first have completed their freshman year. Upon completion of their freshman year, students who average a grade point average of 2.5 and do not exceed an average of 35 demerits for two semesters will receive a 10% discount on their next two semester’s tuition bill. This scholarship will continue each year (up to three years) provided that the qualifications are met each period.
